Nice Weather At Last

We had a fun afternoon. We have finally gotten some good weather around here. The grass has dried out enough that Ken cut it yesterday. It looks fantastic. The boys and I went outside while he was cutting it. Kenny wanted to ride his bike so he rode and Nathan and I walked down to the park. They played for a little while and we rode/walked back. Katherine came over and brought fried chicken for dinner. She knew we had been feeling under the weather around here. It was nice to talk and get to know her better.

We were able to play outside this afternoon as well. We played Frisbee, catch, and climbed the tree. Kenny played Lightning McQueen and ran around the yard being a race car. Nathan and I had a great time tossing a ball back and forth. He is actually really good at playing ball. We have a great backyard. It has a lot of open space to run and play sports games. Of course there was a little mischief. Kenny took my shoe and threw it over the fence into the neighbors yard. Where he gets these ideas is beyond me. Overall, he has had a good day.

Ken flew today and has finished all the things he needs for his license. All he needs now is to pass the flight test things. He was in a great mood until he realized that neither of the two leaders of his scout group had anything planned for tonight. He is the assistant but he's been running the group. It's been a little frustrating.

Nothing else overly exciting has been going on. We are all slowly getting better which is great. Hopefully this will be the last cold bug for this winter.
