We're Back!

I have a computer again! Boy, you don't realize how much you use something until it's gone. I don't have my picture program installed yet, so I have to wait for my posts with pictures.

For an update since my last post....Nathan got sick and threw up down the front of my shirt. Lovely. I'm feeling better, not great, but much better than before. The boys are as rowdy as ever. We are trying to potty train Nathan. It's going, well, not so good. His interest level in sitting on the potty changes from minute to minute. But he did actually pee in the potty for the first time on Sunday. Today, he ame running to me saying, "I go potty! I go potty! Come and see." So I went and looked in his little potty and there was a little lego Star Wars ship he had built. I looked up at him and said, "Nathan" to which he doubled over with giggles. Silly boy.

I had a doctor appointment last Thursday and I had to take both my boys. They were using the doppler and looked and looked but couldn't find the heartbeat. I tried to stay calm, but this is exactly what happened last January when I lost the baby at the same number of weeks that I am now. They pulled in the ultrasound machine and there was our little love bug- strong heartbeat and moving constantly as to make it hard to get any measurements. The baby measured two days ahead and my doctor said we will keep my due date the same, but plan on a January baby. The boys loved seeing the baby and Kenny was giddy when it waved at him. The doctor gave them each their own picture to keep. Seeing the ultrasound seemed to help something click with Nathan. At least once a day he pulls up my shirt and says, "Mama's baby in there." Then he pulls up his own shirt and pats his little buddha belly and says, "Nathan's baby in there." Very cute! I have started having some compilcations, nothing serious-yet, but I have been placed on a modified bed rest plan. I just have to be really careful not to lift things or over-exert myself and I have to stay off my feet a much as possible. We are hoping to avoid the complications of my past and keep off full bed rest. So far, things seem to be heading in the same direction as before, but it's still early and we have plenty of time.

I have other things to post about, but they have pictures with them. Hopfully in the enxt few days I can download the camera into the computer.
