(In case you forgot my stance on laundry, click here.)
One basket had adult clothes- mostly my hubby's shirts.
The other basket had sheets and towels.
While I was hanging up my hubby's shirts, I asked him to please put the towels away. He happily agreed.
A few hours later after we had put the boys to bed, I went in our room and saw a laundry basket on our bed. Inside the basket were (you know where this is going) the sheets and a single washcloth. I looked at Ken and said, "I thought you said you'd put the towels away?"
"I did put the towels away, honey."
**Deep breath**
"Hon, will you please put all the things in the basket away."
"Sure! All you had to do was ask."

All you can do is just love us!! And stop trying to train. It wont work!!
LOL...something like that totally happened with Jonny and I the other day. We were getting home late and I mentioned I still needed to do laundry. He volunteered to put them in the dryer so I could go to bed, and I said, "ok well if you do please dont put my khakis in the dryer." A day and a half later I find out they hadnt been put in the dryer! Why you ask? Becuase I said, "If you do...". I figured he had volunteered...he was still waiting to be told! Heaven help them!

I think I"ve trained Kevin pretty good. He does stuff when I ask him to. And he does the whole thing. He's a very smart little hubby.
That is the best story ever. I definately relate to that. Hubby: 1 Wifey: 0
Chiara,
Thank you for capturing what all womenfolk go through. Mine is more of where does the dirty laundry go? Not on top of the empty hamper's lid -- but inside. That one still doesn't get through.
