Scrub Down

The heat is back in full force. Though I am now fully realizing the almost unbearable torture I am about to endure going through the summer here, I am grateful that the weather is acting normal. Though you wouldn't know it by looking at me (or my family) I like normal.

We had a very busy day. This is one of the things we did.
Aren't my boys cute?!?

He worked VERY hard.

Nathan left the car to the others and concentrated his efforts on the driveway.

I promise I did help and did not just watch them work through the camera lens.

I also went dress shopping with Katherine (she is marrying David on Aug. 4th.) We were in search of modest bridesmaid dresses. We drove to a shop at least an hour away. I tried on about 10 dresses. We found a few we liked but were having a hard time deciding which one to go with. Then the saleslady brought out a spaghetti strap dress that she said also came in a sleeved variety. The dress matches the wedding dress. It is a beautiful dress.

I also went to the grocery store. Strawberries were on sale for a $1.47. Yum!

And we went to Lowe's. I love home improvement stores. My heart is a-flutter just thinking about it. Last, but where we spent the most money, was Target (or more commonly known as the red ball store.)
