Ahh...the holiday of romance. We don't really celebrate Valentine's Day. At least not in the traditional way. I love the kiddy aspect of it. But we have always been so busy and prices on things are so high for this holiday. So, nerdy as it may be, we decided to celebrate "Valentine's Day" on Sept. 3rd- the anniversary of the day we met. We still do cards on Valentine's Day, but we go all out in September.
I still love this holiday. I love to see everyone being affectionate and loving. I'm one of those hopeless romantic types. I love the predictable romantic ending in movies. I melt over flowers and sappy cards. It's a bit sad really, but that's me!
Kenny has been so cute. I gave him a construction paper card and he is cherishing it. He's been carrying it all around with writing on it. He keeps giving me hugs and saying he loves his Valentine. He's been very sweet. He says he just loves Valentine's!

Landan got candy with his valentines at daycare and he kept carrying them around the house saying, "Happy Birthday a me!" I don't think he quite gets the concept yet.
