Daylight Savings

"Fall Back into Daylight Savings" used to be a favorite saying of mine. It meant an extra hour of sleep, which was always nice before 9:00 church. I loved waking up and thinking, "Oh, I can go back to sleep, I have another hour."

Then I had kids.

My boys could care less whether the government says we have to reset our clocks. They do not care what the little numbers on the clock mean. For them , wake up time is wake up time. And wake up time means, "I'm soooooo hungry. Diaper peez. Mooooom, Nathan's not putting his notebook in the right place. Tenny...no!" and so on so forth.

**Sigh**
Goodbye extra hour! Maybe we can meet again in about 5-10 years.

Try working the night of daylight savings time. That means a 13 hour shift for me. Nice. Gotta love it.
