Yard Work

We did more yard work this evening. I watered the flowers, sprayed some weed killer, and mowed some of the front yard. Ken edged and mowed the rest of the yard. I love this early spring weather. It is so wonderful to be outside enjoying the sun without sweating. I know it is only a matter of time before the mosquitoes move in the the temperature heats up to barely tolerable levels. This weekend I am going to have to pull out the summer clothes and see what we need to get for this year.

I have found that I love to garden. I even like weeding. I find it oddly thrilling to grab a bunch of weeds and ripe them out of the dirt. Nathan takes after me. He loves dirt. He will spend hours digging and eating the dirt whenever I am outside. Kenny is only interested in the worms in the dirt- not the dirt itself. Unfortunately, I do not have a natural green thumb. Yet this fact does not deter me from planting away and hoping I'll figure it out someday.

I totally understand your love of gardening. It's a relaxation and a burning too. It's the way I feel about photography. Watch out or I will be headed to your house to take photos of your flowers LOL. I too love spring, and have been enjoying finding spring blossoms to "shoot"! B2B :)
