Kenny was really good at church on Sunday. He said he learned about Joseph Smith and he was the line leader. At Eppie's house today, she and some friends were working on scrapbooking Valentine's Day cards for servicemen overseas. Kenny had a delightful time using the markers to color and write his letters. Then he got a hold of an ink pad. Pink, of course. He stamped the paper, his shirt, pants, hands, and finally...his face. Now this is not ordinary ink. This is extra permanent archivable ink. Luckily, due to some quick thinking his face was spared from sporting a pink beard. His hands were not so lucky. I have tried everything. He is just going to have to stay pink until his skin falls off.
Nathan has a new trick. He doesn't eat anything. Wait, I take that back. He eats it, but fails to swallow. He had a little corn dog bites for lunch one day. After taking a bite, he pushed away from the table and climbed down. Off he went on about his business. An hour later, I noticed he is holding his mouth really tight. I force his mouth open and sweep it clean only to find several bites of hot dog stuffed in his cheeks. He does this with every meal. He stuffs food in his cheeks. After every meal I have to hold my hand under his mouth and say, "Nathan. Open up." in my stern Mommy voice. And every time I end up with a hand full of half chewed whatever. Gross...but what can you do.
PS- Check out my dear friend Sue's blog. She is linked on the right. Read her post about slinkies. Her pearls of wisdom have had me laughing all night!

Thanks for the Kudos, Chiara. Some days one needs to concoct such pearls of wisdom. Although, I can't take full credit for the sentiment it certainly fit the day.
