Questions

On the drive home from the bookstore, Kenny asked the following questions.

"How do doors get on houses?"

"Are toys real and people pretend?"

"Do apples have eyes?"

I love how little minds work. They find joy and delight in everything they see. How many adults earnestly wonder about how houses get doors? It makes me wonder how much simpler and happier life would be if only we could be as little children. Laughter would come easily, forgiveness given swiftly, a kiss would heal most wounds, and imagination could turn anything into a rainbow.

I'm so grateful I have two sweet little boys to remind me of all that is precious and important in this life. I am so blessed!
