Nathan took one of the big steps from babyhood to toddlerville. He is now sleeping in a big boy bed. Now we can pack up the bulky crib until the next go 'round. The first night in his bed was interesting. We put him down, and within a few minutes the door opened. We heard this little excited giggle and Nathan appeared in the doorway- blanket in tow with his little belly sticking out of his jammies and the biggest grin behind his binkie. So adorable. We put him back to bed and within 5 minutes we hear, "Mama, Daddy...Nathan is out of bed." We told Kenny to just let Nathan explore his new freedom and to stay in bed and be a good example. Being the excellent listener that he is, we spent the next hour telling Kenny to go back to bed and leave Nathan alone and putting Nathan back in his bed. 
Finally, at about 10:00 I checked in on them and was greeted by two angelic little faces-fast asleep-each in his bed.
My babies are growing up...sigh.
